It has been over a year now fighting with our Representatives and Senator's in Pennsylvania.
To get the drunk driving laws changed. No drunk driving does not need to continue. Many officials say its a social disorder or a educational issue but it is not. My findings on this issue is just the opposite because everyone is trained at a early age that drunk driving kills. Its in our papers and taught by District Attorney's in our schools, by State Police also in the schools. It is taught by driver's education teachers, in our operating manuals that we hand out to a new driver,its on our bill boards, on our television as commercials, magazines,and our highway signs that PENN D.O.T. Puts up year after year that state D.U.I. It will cost you.
We state throughout the United States and every state that your driver's license is a privilege and not a right.
This is not so also from what I have found out. We think that some kind of hard justice to be meted out when a drunk driver takes a life but that sad fact is it is way much less than that person would get if he or she just molested a child. The taking of another persons life no matter how it is done by another person is murder no matter how it was done.
